A friend commissioned me to create a special gift for her husband's retirement from the military. We decided upon a composition depicting their older Jack Russell terrier, Tybee, who is gone but not forgotten, and their new puppy, Scout, tucked into her husband's military boots. I believe we came up with a winning combination.
